Optimal layout:
Recommended orientation – East–West. Although the annual total generation is 22–25% lower (compared to classic south-facing systems, based on 2024 German statistics), the peak energy production occurs during morning and evening hours, when electricity prices are highest.
This is especially important when using the Net-Billing system, where settlements are made not in kilowatt-hours, but in monetary terms for each hour. Such an orientation ultimately ensures up to 30% higher financial efficiency.
